Lazy Sunday...

I do try and make our Sundays very lazy but around midday I decide that everywhere needs a good clean. Today really does have to be a cleaning day. All that furniture painting led to sealant replacement, grout cleaning, cupboard 'organising' etc.
So whilst most of today will be cooking and cleaning, I have decided to steal an hour of this gorgeous sunny morning, and whilst the children are all busy with football, reading and talking to toys, I am going to lay back and crochet.
Absolutely blissful.
I hope you are all enjoying your day and have a fabulous weekend.
(P.S I am glad you all liked the flower tutorial x)

Happy Sunday xx

  1. Happy Sunday to you too - I am steeling myself to do battle with the kitchen before going out for a walk.

I have put on a big load of washing, and hopefully it can dry outside - bliss!! (oh my, what have I come to? Drying washing outside makes me happy!! lol)

  2. Don't worry it makes me stupidly happy too. All the windows have been thrown open and I am waiting for the washing machine to beep so I can get my pegs out ;)

  4. Your blanket is lovely! Sundays are my favorite day of the week. :-) After a morning at church we usually have lunch out at a favorite restaurant. Then it's home to just have a quiet day, which for me usually involves knitting or crocheting. Today I'm planning to finish a baby blanket I started on Friday. I hope you have a wonderful day today.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  5. Being eight hours in front of GB it is now Monday morning as I type, and apart from hanging out some washing, which I don't normally do on a Sunday - and bliss, I had to run to get it out of the rain, yes I said RAIN - it was a lovely quiet day spent working on my latest very small quilting project, then attending out daughter's art exhibition opening at a wonderful local venue, which was beautiful!
I love your blanket coming along there Emma, the colours really 'send' me! So glad you managed to get all those household tasks up to date - now relax! Joy xo

  8. Sometimes it feels great just to get things cleaned up and organized, but then the troops come stomping in and mess it all up again!
    Hugs to you,
